I am of Hispanic and Chinese descent, my mother is from Mexico and my father from Hong Kong. I am pursuing a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and am currently in my fifth and final year of college. I expect to graduate in spring 2020 and would like to travel during the summer to various places such as Japan, Mexico and Hong Kong. I joined the SPARTAN Superway project because I have seen the effects of traffic and how it contributes to a significant amount of the pollution in the Bay Area. Designing and prototyping a system to allow large scale transportation as efficiently as possible is something that I would like to gain experience in. Hopefully, having this chance to work on a automated transit network will give me an insight and better understanding to what is expected out in the real world. ME:
